Normal saline infusion.
165= 165ml/h.

=>>3960 per day.

Such a high infusion rate is strange to me.
It will only be used if you are in shock ( low blood pressure) or in diuresis( increased urine output to ~3L per day) beforehand.

Normal intake of fluid should be 2L ( via mouth and infusion)

Unless they stop your infusion and blood pressure becomes stable, they will not let you home.

Doug, you should ask them for the reason of such a high infusion rate.
Is it for shock??

I think your pancreatitis should have much improved, otherwise you may feel pain or nausea after you eat. Tell your wife that you should be ok soon.

For those 3 days checking, my blood pressure and temperature are all in health situration.  No high or low for blood pressure at all.  But, I really need to go to VV around 2 hours because of the high infusion of NaCl 0.9%.  Can't sleep throughly at all...........

I will ask the doctors soon casue it is 9:00 a.m. and they will be there arounf 10:00 a.m.  Look forward to their advices and report to u afterwards.

Please keep calm, or the hospital will think you are still at high pressure and keep you here for observation. Apart from your wife, do you have other friends that can help to check with the hospital?
