Description and History The Anti-United Nations Forces arose from resistance to a single unified world government, a proposal in which many of the world's nations wished solidarity against the possibility of invasion by aliens following the revelation of the crashed Alien Space Ship-1 on South Ataria Island. Backed by several of the world's most powerful countries, the Anti-United Nations Forces have a long history of espionage. So it was with little surprise the U.N. Government's development of the F203 Dragon II fighter based on OverTechnology from the Alien Space Ship-1 was followed by the Anti-United Nations development of their own aircraft with OverTechnology. The Mikolev MiM-31 Karyovin was also a delta wing craft and the A.U.N.'s answer to the F203. Using most of the same materials, the Karyovin was a comparable aircraft and was a step ahead of the conventional aircraft of its time. Description and History During the October 2011 mission to retrieve the Zentradi Factory Satellite, Britai and his U.N. Spacy crew encountered a heavily damaged ship floating in space. A cursory scan with ships sensors revealed the damaged ship was a Supervision Army Gun Destroyer and that it was only recently damaged, likely in an engagement with remnants of the recently dispersed Bodol Fleet. Given the threat of a possible booby trapped vessel, further investigation of the ship was judged a jeopardy to the larger mission. Britai and his crew folded space and left the Supervision Army destroyer adrift. Although never specifically stated in the episode, the show creators did reveal that this derelict was of the same size and gun destroyer class as the SDF-1 Macross before the Macross crashed on Earth and was subsequently rebuilt. Increasing the firepower beyond the standard Reguld Battle Pod, the Glaug is built with two arm units each holding one large-bore and one small-bore impact cannons and the Glaug also is equipped with a rare long range top-mounted, electron beam cannon. Along with the standard two anti-personnel cannons on the front ventral side of the fuselage, the Glaug can operate in nearly any capacity. To handle the increased power demands, the Glaug has a much more powerful single fusion reactor. Like the Reguld, the Glaug is ground based within a planetary atmosphere but uses numerous vernier thrusters and powerful dual engines for space flight. The Glaug was customarily used much more frequently in the Zentradi mecha forces but has become somewhat of a rarity in the modern age of Space War One. Roughly 280,000 cycles before the present era, the Supervision Army succeeded in an all-front attack upon the Roiquonmi fully automated weapons factory, thus seriously reducing the Zentradi's supply of Glaug mecha. The rarity of the Glaug persisted until roughly 3,700 cycles before the present era when a supply of nearly new Glaug units was recovered from an opened weapons storage facility. Kamjin Kravshera repeatedly made use of a Glaug during his campaigns in Space War One and possessed a supply of the mecha to replace damaged units.
