The first trailer for José Padilha's Robocop is here, and it gives us our first real look at what is in store for us in this movie! The trailer shows us the transformation of Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) into Robocop, and also features the evolution of a couple of different Robocop designs that we'll see throughout the film. I think the movie looks like it's going to be great! I definitely looks a lot better than I was expecting
In "RoboCop," the year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before
The movie also stars Abbie Cornish, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, and Samuel L. Jackson and it comes out on February 7th. Check out the trailer for yourself and let us know what you think! |
