QC for my metal build freedom

I got my metal build freedom today. I bought it at amiami. Waited a month for it to deliver to Canada. Since quite a lot of people are complaining about the QC issue, I opened mine and did a quick check. QC seems ok from my prospective. I spent 12600 yen for it. Overall I think it's a good buy. Nice to have it added to my collection. :71:

Congratulations! I buy from amiami too, but after seeing cHing's reports about the QC, I was too scared to risk it for such an expensive item

Congrat braveblade bro. Like you, I got mine from amiami also (3 days ago). I missed the pre-order, so I also paid what you paid. The QC on my is fine. Only slight paint blemish for the red paint on the head, and few small scratches or dirt underneath the paint. The worst part is fairly big 水口 on the waist canons and couple other places. This second batch of products seems to have better QC. My guess is the first batch was built before (around?) Chinese New Year.
Even though the QC is not as good as the Gundam 00, it is still not bad. It is definitely a very good toy. The joints are quite tight though, so I have to be careful when I play with it.

TO tman: Yeah i noticed there is noticeable 水口 on the waist canons as well. So Bandai actually made a second batch? That's rare. I think only amiami did restock after the pre-order sold out.

This is solely my speculation. I keep hearing other bro mentioning about there will be an Asian version; therefore, the products are likely coming in batches. Or we are just simply lucky to have ones with better QC.

I got it from Amiami as well. No complain on the figure. The QC is great on my copy. Little lucky I guess. No paint issue on the face (little worry before I opened the box). But, it turned out great. It seems the QC issue is case by case. I pre-ordered it long time ago at Amiami, so mine copy was the first batch. I have both 7 sword with 00 raiser and Trans AM version. Putting all three together, Gundam Freedom still stands out very well.
