Some childhood memories suddenly surfaced...
Like most boys, I used to own 玩具車仔. 玩具車仔 are probably kid's favorites. They are relatively cheap, which means parents don't mind buying a parking lot of those. They have lots of variety spanning from racers to buses to specialized vehicles. They are also small and can easily fit in a small pocket, allowing kids to carry their fun everywhere. :43:
And of course, I had my fair share of Tomica's, some knockoff's, some old 鐵皮車仔, some made in Japan, some made in China/Hong Kong, most of them cheap and inexpensive. Among those however, I had this:
童夢零 Dome Zero
Not the real thing of course, just a mid-scale diecast. :64:
I didn't know what car it was back then, since I was just a 细路. I just knew it was big and heavy, and had a green color which is considered ugly in today's standard. But of course, I LOVED that car...
One day, some distant relative 阿叔 came and visit. He had his eyes on the Dome Zero, probably wanted it for his grandkid or something, so he sweet mouthed and traded me with something that had no value. I forgot what he traded me but my mom told me it was something stupid and shitty, may be something made from paper or something of that sort). I was only a kid back then, 天真 and clueless. So I made the trade.
My parents didn't know I made the trade until after which was already too late. They were pissed at that 阿叔 but didn't really blame me. They always say I was a kind and 梳爽 kid. :26:
As years gone by some of those 玩具車仔 have lost, given to other kids, or put in storage in a 藍罐曲奇罐. I've also bought real cars instead of 車仔.
But no matter what ride I have now, I'll never own a Dome Zero in an ugly green again, ever. :help:
This is not a story with happy ending. Just a memory I would like to share. 帶點遺憾的玩具.
Things we've lost is always previous, don't you agree? :42:
Anyone got stories with toys? |
