OBAMA makes history

...so I was right about Obama's win but I was also wrong about the vote margin between the two candidates. In percentage, it is just 5% points but in electoral votes, the gap is about 175 (338 to 163). I would never expect more than 300 electoral votes to Obama. To most Blacks in the US, this is indeed a historic moment, who would have thought the day would come within their life time( Dr. King would have been very pleased). Maybe the US is more ready to have a Black President than I realised. There are people who still couldn't accept a Black President and I hope nothing like the JFK assassination would happen again.  The message from most voters is clear - they want "change".

After the presidential honeymoon, there will be mountains of works piling up on Obama's desk. I wish him the best.

There are still many active White supremacy groups, especially on the internet, recruiting new "angry" , younger whites. I am sure Obama  foresaw being attacked when he decided to run for the presidency. Recently, they have arrested two white kids (19, 20yo)  who had plans to mass murder Blacks at some high schools as well as targetting Obama. Some self-proclaimed prophets predicted that the US would be divided into two like during the Civil War. I think they should get real employments instead of looking at the crystal ball.
