It appears that there are not many posts about the Architecture series. Here are two of my sets:
21013 Big Ben
Excerpts from the manual - as usual there are several pages on the architect(s) and the history of the building, with a lot of colour pictures.

It is a compact model, measuring 8cm x 9.5cm x 19.6cm, which makes it perfect for display on your desk or bookshelf. It's a bit tricky to assemble the model neatly, though, for there are numerous 1 x 1 bricks (which also make it more time consuming to build). On the whole it is a nice addition to my collection.

And here is 21005 Fallingwater, a beautiful building by Frank Lloyd Wright:
Excerpts from the manual -

I like this handsome model a lot. I have another Frank Lloyd Wright building - 21017 Imperial Hotel, but I haven't got the time to build it yet. Maybe I'll update this post later.

Indeed... I guess 21050 Arhitecture Studio is not going to be a bestseller...

Yes, I think that's a feature of the "Landmark" series. My next target is 21015 Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Thanks, I suppose you mean 21014 Villa Savoye? Or is it 21009 Farnsworth House?

I see, but it would be better to make the building taller first, or else the scale would look awkward.

Haha, obviously you are way more into those huge modular buildings! The Architecture series is understandably much less popular - these models simply look too serious. But they have their own charms.

i thnik the Archi series is too small, too simply. It only remains the form of the buildings, but can't show the details of those great buildings...

Taken on their own terms they are quite decently designed. The essential features are well represented. Of course, there are a lot of limitations in this approach, and the modelling style may suit certain architectural movements better.

essential feature is the form of buildings?:58:

This series only reconstructed the form / appearance of those buildings, but the theories, reasons, etc. why it became like this was lost. Does it follow the climate/region, forced by culture, evolution of technology, revive / resist of a period, or just Expressionism...

Thus, i think cardboard + glue still the best model of architecture.
