i agree strongly with both the crow bigbig on the originality of the design;
giving a face lift to a vintage design might/might not suit every fans' taste.
to me, being able to capture the spirit of the original design is which i
treasure the most.
also K66 bigbig, i think my path of buying this ttj 28 was EXACTLY the
same as yours. near 30s yr old, caught between the first ttj 28 and fx, had
doubts about bandai's soc preview, but when the ttj 28 hit the store,
looking at the reasonable price and picking up the real thg from the box,
opinion changes rather quickly, and now i'm lovin it! |
