Finally got the EVA-02 today. The QC is much better than EVA-01. Lucky enough, the copy I have doesn't suffer much issue. Love the glossy material on EVA-02's body. The whole figure feel much solid than EVA-01. It is slightly heavier than EVA-01. Came with more accessories than EVA-01.
I think Medicom makes some great improvements on EVA-02. Hope they will keep up the QC on the rest of the up-coming EVA figures.
Also want to share EVA-01 Awakening ver. This figure doesn't come with much accessories. The built quality is very similar to EVA-01. However, I do like the eyes and the color combo on awakening ver. He looks a little meaner I guess!

Thanks 德哥! EVA-02 is pretty solid figure. May be you can get EVA-02 and give it a try. It may change your perspective about this toy line. Also, Medicom's customer service is excellence. I had some major issues on EVA-01 awakening version. Medicom asked me to ship the item back to Japan. They fixed everything and covered all the shipping cost.
Thanks takeshi Ching! I also feel the same way about the glossy part on EVA-02. It looks great as stand alone figure. However, EVA-01 looks little odd next to EVA-02. I do hope Medicom will keep up the QC. I do like this toy line a lot.
