11月7日，聯邦軍正式發動以奪回歐洲為目的的大規模反攻作戰——“敖德薩會戰”。為配合此次作戰，徹底清掃吉恩軍在地球的殘餘勢力，使將要在宇宙中進行的反攻作戰無後顧之憂，渥爾夫所屬的非洲部隊於12月5日展開了名為“アフリカ掃討戦”的大規模非洲清掃作戰，以超過吉恩軍非洲殘餘部隊20倍以上的兵力強行對非洲的吉恩軍展開猛攻。在以後的一周時間內渥爾夫共擊墜敵MS21架，由此躋身於王牌行列。至12月中旬，非洲清掃作戰大致結束，部分吉恩殘軍撤離宇宙，其餘轉入地下基地堅持作戰。非洲戰局大致穩定。渥爾夫的家鄉也得以光復。
