I think it depends a lot on the conditions of your home, and how the structure of your building handles heat and humidity. Some of it is difficult to change.

After years, my RAH220 DX Rider #1 and #2 is still perfect, and I haven't done anything special to keep them that way. But I have also heard some bigbig say that theirs have flaked off completely
