If you buy this CM's Legioss & Tread that comes with the new upgrade parts, then you will have the included black cradle which is used to attach to the connecting bar in such a way that it firmly locks the Tread in place.  So, the loose connection of Legioss with Tread is no longer an issue anymore.  But personally, I still don't like the lingkage for these toys with the ugly black connecting bar.
