[Wii] Questions Regarding Wii Remote

I wonder if the Wii Remotes can be used with different versions (i.e. can a Wii Remote from Japan use with a US Ver Wii)?

Also, Is it hard to find in HK right now as well?

No, there is no difference among versions. My console is US. I have another remote is also US but the nunchuk is Japanese
