The Boom Lift Truck is an effective multi-purpose lift mostly used in construction and mecha maintenance. A powerful lifting boom is attached to a heavy, wide bed truck for mobility. Early in Space War I, Hikaru Ichijo and Lynn Minmay were trapped aboard a sealed section of the SDF-1 Macross, following the vessel's space fold operation from South Ataria Island. When they were finally discovered by mere chance (following a brief Zentradi attack), they were retrieved from inside the ship via a boom lift fitted with a special basket and winch.

Description and History
In Space War I, the U.N. Spacy made extensive use of Glamor's ES-11D Cat's Eye reconnaissance spaceplane. The ES-11D was designed for operation both in an atmosphere and in space the Cat's Eye makes use of two sets of engines for theatre–specific operation. In an atmosphere, the ES-11D makes use of two engines along either side of the dorsal-aft fuselage while in space it uses two wing-mounted reaction engines for propulsion and maneuvering. A very small crew of one pilot in the aft seat and one operations officer in the front seat work in the cockpit of the ES-11D which features numerous displays for operating the large radome atop the craft. Lieutenant Misa Hayase operated on board an ES-11D just before her capture and subsequent first contact with the Zentradi.

Description and History
During development of OverTechnology gained via research of the fallen Alien Space Ship-1, the U.N. Government decided to attempt incorporating early discoveries into existing human technology. Destroids and variable fighters were still several years away from being realized so the new technologies developed by the OTEC research institute would be used to build a fighter called the F203 Dragon II. The F203 began design only a year and a half after the establishment of OTEC and was formally adopted as the main fighter of the U.N. Forces in 2003. Built as a delta wing aircraft with OverTechnology, the F203 was stronger, faster and more efficient than previous fighter aircraft. The craft was much more maneuverable than conventional fighter aircraft and was light despite equipment for V/STOL capabilities. Roy Focker flew an F203 during his service as a fighter pilot in the United Nations Wars.

Description and History
A next generation aircraft evolving from the hypersonic lifting-body Superbird series of unmanned fighter-bombers, the QF-3000E became an all-environment unmanned craft used throughout the U.N. forces. As an unmanned spaceplane the "Ghost" was aptly named like previous AI-controlled craft but the QF-3000E is much larger than its predecessors. Carrying numerous cannons and internal missiles makes the Ghost a potent weapon and the craft is often used in large numbers, sometimes equaling the manned fighter compliment onboard some U.N. carrier ships. At the beginning of Space War One in February 2009, there were 120 QF-3000E's stationed aboard the SDF-1 Macross with a further 270 units deployed on ARMD-01.
