Acrylic油彩係用水稀釋既！洗都係用水！乾左之後會變成膠！即使用白電油、thinner都洗唔甩既！
如果用噴槍/噴筆，開稀d試下啦！至於點為之適中，你就憑感覺啦！
呢個世界冇話一定既formula！需知道你響加拿大既濕度、氣溫同香港完全唔同！

Yup, cleaned it to the best I could.I always clean right after use, everything is so bloody expensive here, I can't afford another brush :)
Hey guys, just a minor update
I did get around to laying down the white glue.The effect looked ok, but I consider it failure, but an overall great experience:
1.The base color wasn't the best, its too light, so it still looked very very fake
2.The base material that was used, have imprints of its corrugation, the paint didn't cover it well enough, so its showing through the "water"
3.I think I over did the glue, so it was too thick, and it ran a little, which was actually good, it created lines that looks almost like stream line
4.I didn't mask the 2 side properly, so there was spill
That said, I definitely agree that white glue is a cheap alternative, and I've learned a lot as far as what to do next time, so while I think this to be a failure, I consider it a successful prototype.I am in the process of making tress right now, I will post some pics later once I have more progress

常威, thank you for the link.As for the color, yeah, I probably will need to redo it, i haven't figure out just how yet, maybe I will cut out a piece of think plastic that go on top of whatever is done already to mask it.... shouldn't be too bad, i may just leave it since its a prototype.. but if it looks good, i will put that in my display case :)
Ok, after some work, I've "completed" the prototype, still some minor touchup required, such as finding the perfect light cover for the streetlights, getting a nice background for at least 2 side of the unit.But otherwise, i am going to say I am quite happy with this.Thanks to everyone who encouraged me and helped me.I will start a new thread in the near days to post progress of my actual project.Stay tuned!

Thank you guys.Yes, I have much bigger and long term plans for the lay out......i can't say how big i want to go yet, but the layout will have 2 cities, one is a modern city the other one will resemble an old town type, with a wide river (possibly a third center island) between them.
I am going to start with using plaster (drywall compound) to carve out the base riverbed first.I may start that process as early as this weekend, I will post progress in a new thread as I see fit..

Thanks, and yes, that is the plan, but it will be "slow", since wood board is pretty expensive here....I actually had an idea of making it 2 layers, so that i have room for a "subway" line as well, but then the setup will be far too ambitious, so let me build out the little water stream first, then I will see what I can achieve with a hammer and a table saw :)
