I think it is still too early at this stage to mark it under a specific series, not until Bandai clarify in next month (I think).

You can try by using this in japanese search engine and you will see many unconfirmed news.

Seems that Bandai may have plans to issue all macross fighters in 1:100 scale, including macross II & macross 7. :58:

yeh well, it may be too much for consumers if it's considered as another new product line beside the robot tamashii category, anyways, won't have any real stuff for us until 2009... :56:
