laser is just a short form and actually, it is a process.

The full name of laser should be:

Light Amplication by Stimulate Emission of Radiation

all sciences students in HKU need to take 1 or 2 phy or chem courses.
there are A LOT of female students in HKU.
they declare major AFTER they have been admitted.

because the subject you mention is 14 in 1 science subject.

What I means is student that study PHYSICS ONLY

Actually, a beam of light "has" many photon(a kind of particle)

and if there are  many photons  which is intense, coherent, monochromatic and unidirectional beam of light.

That will be laser.


(as I cannot find my notebook, I can only copy the above words from my physics book, if I can find my notebook, I wish that I can type an explaination that is easier to understand)
