Depends on what application you need to use, single ATI 4850 should be pretty good already, also some of the newer card has HDMI connector too
if you can afford it, should go with core 2 quad, however, duo still pretty good already
as the other big bro said, ASUS board is very good, they make board for HP too
for two video card, Nvidia also have that too, but if you are playing high demanding video game. a single mid range card (around 1000-1500) should be very good already!
(I still use a X1600 Pro on my 3 years old AMD X2 4400+, thinking about get a 4850)

for VIsta, it is a piece of SH$T, I still won't go that route for all our office PC (I am a network admin, mostly mac, but a few PC there)
I have a few vista at home, someitmes want to throw it out to the windows
besides, get the Home Ultimate, it should be a lot better than Home basic (that is the cr@p of the Crap! |
