By the way, my waist was also quite loose once I got my piece.
I just unscrewed my cybaster completely at the waist area and readjusted the 2 internal screws of the waist easily.
It is better now. But it will not be able to transform if you screw them too tightly. You need to try it yourself.
If the screws or resin is torn, you can replace the screw with new one or slightly larger one, then it should be tight.
The way is easy.
Just turn your cybaster over, then you will discover a screw at the bottom.
Unscrew it, this will detach the hips and the green ball part.
Remember to watch out for the recoling of the spring inside the green ball system.
After you have detached the hips, you should make sure that you will not lose the long narrow screw
and the spring.
Then you can pull off the dress from the chest.
The loosen problematic part will be exposed and you can adjust it freely.
After exploration of the waist joint, I discovered that the stressful point of the cybaster is really this waist joint.
Due to the heavy weight of the wings, CG of the cybaster is not at the center. It is actually at the back. So the waist joint is bound to be loosened after certain times if further stress is put on it. If you use a Gundam stand to support it in air. The weight of the lower part of body will bend this joint backward. If you just let it stand on its own, the joint will still be bent backwards due to the wings. As long as the legs can be put on ground, and the wings can be supported by some means, then it should be OK.
If you use a Gundam stand, it is still OK ( provided you can set it standing on its legs ) but the size is quite large.
My way is not space consuming and can be used with the original stand too.
Just try to explore your way.
