Sorry, I am in office, cannot provide photo, may be tonite.
This is Gundam collection 1/400 scale.
The construction and design really close to 1/144 HG. I would say it is an downsized 1/44 HG. I have little complain on the plastic used, the texture is not as good as those MG/HG recently released, if you guys owned 1/144 gelgoog or F91 will understand what I mean. I think it is mostly ABS, but those used in HG/MG are ABS+PS(polysytlene??). Any expert here?
Second one I want to have is the EX Whitebase. A bit disappointed is the that it do not have and DIE CAST(DIE CASE?) or PE(photo etched) parts. The detail also seem not good enough! Just seem it in JUSCO and UNY selling $#!( with 20% off.
Bandai's "half finished" / "prepainted" model are quite expensive, I guess it's becoz the price of fabrication is quite high at the first place ~~ ?
it's true that, if we regard it as a normal model, then it's hard to accept it's price.
Hope Bandai will figure out a cheaper way to do it soon.
EX-model are also expensive, I guess it's becoz they are produced in a much smaller quantity~ ?
Sorry for the photo is not ready yet as I am not free at the moment.
Looking at Big-Zam and Azuru drop price, actually it is no rush to get this. I think the recommended retail price is just for reference only.
I see that the paint is spray on with custom made mask for mass production.
For those EX-model, I still cannot figure out an reasonable explanation. May be it is targeted for those die hard fans, usually they are adult like us, have deeper pocket to dig into.
I built the GP03D at the night I get it, I cannot hold back! It didn't happen for long long time.
Pros : small size, weapons in cargo is playable, quite heavy even it is all plastic, not much parts and it can built in 1.5hrs.
Cons : plastic used not in top quality, a bit loose for the weapons in cargo, the long barrel is not molded in one piece, seams is not hided perfectly
