  Previously sculpted one HS of Nicolai Luzhin(Viggo Mortensen) as pix & ink in early post below:


  There is a saying in Russia:"In Russian prisons, your life story is written on your body, in tattoos. You don't have tattoos, you don't exist." so I must now finish the painting job and body tattoo~~ :bag

The body is modified from Hitfigure:


:unhappy:There were 43 tattoos on Viggo's body, ranging from fingernail-sized to one which covered most of his back. 12 of the tattoos are Russian sayings. Several encircled his wrists, ankles and fingers.:

«Я здесь и я жду» ”I’m here and I’m waiting”

"What the hell do you care?"

"I am the undertaker "




"I am just a driver..."



"Whatever you do with me, I am free"

Wow! This is really incredible work!
Sculpt work is amazing; paintwork is good; but the tattoo is the most amazing part with the intricate details! It's been a long long time since there has been such excellent work on this site!
And you did everything from scratch (not just plug and play)!
Did you use a pen or paintbrush to do the tattoos? Realistic color choice as well!
Hope to see more!!

Tamiya Fine Pointed Brush 87048 is what I got and used only for tattoos, which I think is adequate for 1/6 scale painting.

For the tattoo color, I tuned Mr.Hobby Gloss Black color with blue and flesh color at proportion of 2:1:1
But since the tattoos colors in Russia prison is made of a burnt rubber sole mixed with urine, the color may differ from usual tattoo's, more flesh color should be addedfor movie accuracy...

Cool!
I use the same brand of brush for eyework.
But to use that for the tattoos... on an uneven surface... you must have really steady hands...!
Yup the tattoo color looks great!

    Empirically doing face/eyes-work is much harder than painting tattoos (good excuse coz can not 100% match the movie tattoos  due to the lack of detail information anyway:P)
