I use this type of plastic for steps in my toy cabinate as well. So I know tw pros and cons.
Judging from the way how each of your level is glued, it is definiately going to break just in the matter of time.
On gluing the 2 plastic sheet at the 90 degree area, there should at least have another strip of plastic for support. (please refer to the pic below)
I'm saying in a very polite way, not discouraging u, but just don't want to see your beloved toys break into pieces.

Your design is quite unstable to me.
All cabinet using plastic or wood may have risk of bending shelves after putting weight on them for a period of time. The threshold is ~12inch. Besides the shelves may detach sooner or later. It would be safer if you add some screws under the shelves like that in Ikea to prevent detachement and add central support under each shelf.
BTW, buying standard display cabinet is the best option, the price is definitely lower than the cost of your toys.
