先上墨線先定掂 decal 先

Dear Bros,?

I have finished a mode and spray work, but I don't know whether I should "上墨線先" or
"掂 decal 先"?  If 掂 decal 先, 墨線 will write on "Decal"?  vice versa????

Please advise!!!! Thank you!

PS.  Any good model making link show you step by step??? Thanks!

滲線好多時都會出界, 所以要先清潔好出界地方至上水貼.

如果你要做舊化, 就會上o左水貼先.

你是滲線嘛... 那麼總會有出界的清況... 如是者當然要將滲出界的地方弄乾淨才貼水貼或貼貼紙啦...

是否有先貼貼紙/水貼再上線？... 這情況或許會有... 就是你想在貼紙的圖案上畫線的時候... 那應該先將貼紙貼上才把線畫在貼紙上啦... 但是會有問題... 萬一畫錯/畫花怎辦？... 還有... 在清理出界的油漆時... 溶劑有可能連水貼也溶掉... 又或者令貼紙上的圖案甩色... 其實在滲線時... 油漆也有可能侵蝕水貼... 還有... 水貼/貼紙... 貼上部件後可能已將該條刻線填平... 這樣就無法滲線了... 還有例如滲線時才發現雕刻線不夠深要加工... 如果已經貼上水貼/貼紙的話要加刻就很麻煩了...

所以一般都是滲完畫完線之後才貼水貼/貼紙... 畢竟那張水貼是很貴的...

小櫻 bro is right on point in the technical aspect.   

and for cosmetic stand point, my take is that decal is for decorating
---->icing on the cake.
and panel lineing is for realism, is part of the building procedure.

but in reality, sometimes after i've applied panel lines, i feel that i don't
have to apply as many decal on certain areas.decals also serves as
a "make up" to cover up some of the flaws during model making.
