A more detail "report" on the lights
At the very beginning, forgive me of being rigid, sharing can be brief or in detail, keep that in mind.
Q. Where can you find the products?
A. Amazon
Q. How much are they?
A. I believe quoting the price is meaningless because shipping is more important and since my family have an account in USA, shipping is always 1/6 compare with usual shipping. For reference
All $ in US
Lumen 3 Pack LED High Output Spotlights with Remote Control $24 (They do not ship international)
Sierra Tools JB5571 Ceiling/Wall Light with Remote $10
RiteLite LPL704 Wireless 12-LED Under Cabinet Light $11
Lightmates 6-pack LED Wireless Puck Light (Not sure the price at Amazon, you can get that at Costco @ $68)
P.S. I saw one from local Yahoo, but I am not sure if it is bright enough, you can search remote lighting in chinese.
Q. What makes these lights funny and useful?
A. It use battery AAA or AA (Not sure which is which) and most of them come with a remote. So no wire good for a setup which lacks lighting option.
Q. Are they bright enough for the purpose of displaying
A. Depends on the shelf, because as a statue collector, most collectors are using IKEA Besta and Lightmates is believed by many as the best pick. However, as I have shown at photo 2, Lumen's spot light, though less focus, is stunningly bright. Generally speaking I believe if you dont need the remote function Ritelite is good for displaying figures.
Concluding remarks
Lighting is a part of display and since I collect statues, which most of them cannot move, how to present a statue is critically important to me and I have to find the right light for the set up. So this lightings do help people like me, who, at the very beginning has no intention in setting up anything but regret so much about not having a decent lighting at your display unit.
