My RX-78 Collection (多圖), Jun 14: PG + repaint pic added

This 1/48 RX-78 really given me the "toys" feeling that haven't happened to me for a long while.  My son & I really "play" (bun chi... bun chi...) with it.  And I even bring it out with us.  I already have a thread talking my son & I building that 1/48 together.  Now let's gather all my (still exist) RX-78 collection and show them to all.:73:





Let's see the difference between the latest RX-78 kit, 1/48 Mega Size + MG ver.2 + 30th HGUC.  The Mega size really has very limited articulation but it looks so damn good for just stand straight.  The ver.2 MG kind of looks dull when compare to the Megasize & HG.  The HGUC quality is really surprise me!  but too bad I still prefer bigger in size!






Here are my RX-78 collection... Mega size, MG ver.2, GFFMC, GFF, SHCM pro, HCM pro, MSIA, EMSIA, original HG, HGUC, 30th HGUC...etc.  I think I have to build my PG to complete it.




Here are my not build yet collection & some 台場 collection.  It included PG, MG ver 1, ver1.5, Ka, 台場 ver HG and the vintage 1/60 FA-78

It seems like missing something without the PG in my RX-78 collection, so spent 2 wk to finish it.  I used metallic blue & metallic red for the body.  And for the white, I use silver as base then 3 layers of pearl white on top of it.  But maybe the paint is not thin enough on each layer so not as good as expected.







The PG is really a 10 yr old!  The finger are so easy to break, and the leg is a bit too short, the head is a bit too big and the shoulders are really too small.

Let's gather the painted 1/48, MG v2 and the hguc together and have some group pic.
