The Rapidly Dog is one of my favourite as it was not "offically" produced by Takara during the 80's. May consider if I have space then. (or just wait for 1/48).
The new designs for AT should be prepared for Bandai 1/20 products, so it would not be involved with licensing problem for old ATs. (You may observe that the face of Chirico is somewhat different from the TV design, younger and cutie, lack of the blue mood in the original series)

Well, I think Bandai will only focus on the Pelisen Files version and not the past ATs, that is the most logical explanation for the difference. So far, apart from Bandai, no manufacturers mentioned they will issue ATs of the new OVA.
Having said that, brother's argument may be right as I was just guessing and basing on opinions of the japnaese fans in their own forum.
For my point of view, it would be nice to have Takara to issue as well, as competition can benefit the customers most.

Just like Yamato, Takara will release 1/18 Red Shoulder only as seperated parts, which is a good thing, but the biggest surprise is ..... a Microman Vanilla ?!! This is WAOH WAOH WAOH !
