50 Masterpieces for 50 Years of TV Anime
Anime has been around in cinemas for years that is until on January 1, 1963, the anime adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy manga aired on TV for the first time! Since then, it revolutionized anime.To commemorate this event, Asahi Shimbun compiled a list of 50 masterpieces representing the electric range and heights of anime over the years.
