1/12 is very good in overall proportion, with decal sheet but no weathering.
1/18 is better for playing, and most ATs are with decals printed and weathering
You can find some very cheap ones for both of the series now. (around $500)
For 1/12, almost all don't include pilot, except 1-2 special versions if I don't remember wrong
