I guess both are correct. It is only matter of British accent and American accent.

First of all, if Chinese "標" = "BILL" ,:58:
so there is an "L' sound at the end, Whats wrong with you?:76:
Secondly, just a thought, Batman is an American born action hero, so why not Amer ...

Do not use Chinese to emulate English pronunciation. I really hate that, that's why they can't speak English properly.

標  is NOT BILL.  There is a L and is very important to pronounce properly.  Stop inventing English pronunciation like the Japanese. Stop using Chinese to emulate  the pronunciations of English words. This is not the proper way to learn a language.  Either one learn the language properly or don't , there is no half way.
There are many HK University professors who can't even speak English properly.

There are Chinese professors teaching aboard in western universities and the number of  students attending the class drop dramatically  after a while, do you know why???

.......because nobody understands what they are saying.

Batman being an American invention has nothing to do with pronunciation. Your question was about how to pronounce a word, and I gave you an answer. Why bother to ask the question if you have no interests in learning the proper way!!??

This has nothing to do with accent. An Amercian can pronounce "To ma to " instead of " to mate to" with an American accent if they want to.  All I am saying is, if you want to learn real English, learn from the English. Stop learning from sources like  CNN or the Amercans in general and definitely not from HK stars from North America. People are often impressed with their accent but their English is often incorrect.

That's why it is so pathetic nowaday to listen to HK people to speak english. They don't bother to learn it in a proper way, it's like " 洗乜理拒點讀姐﹐求 X 其咪得鑼“ :45:
