Farewell London Citaro Bendies (多圖注意)
2002 年, 倫敦首度引入德國平治 O530G Citaro 掛接巴士,取替喺倫敦服務達半個世紀嘅 AEC Routemaster, 成為倫敦巴士嘅新標誌,
最後一批服役嘅 AEC Routemaster, 喺 2005 年 12 月9 日正式退役,
同時亦將巴士設有售票員服務送入歷史, 但係好景不常, 呢批掛接巴士卻惹來部份人仕不滿,
指佢地超長嘅車身嚴重阻塞倫敦市內交通, 而且呢D巴士引致嘅逃票嘅情況亦相當嚴重,
加上倫敦人嘅介意 -- 點解英國作為最早擁有巴士o既國家之一,
竟然要買D德國貨色去代表倫敦呢個英國o既首都, 國際o既大都會呢?
Boris Johnson 喺 2008 年就任市長, 即計劃喺 2012 年前,
全面淘汰倫敦市內行走嘅掛接巴士, 並且著手設計新一代嘅 Routemaster 雙層巴士,
以取代掛接巴士成為倫敦嘅新標誌, 並且預定首批量產嘅新一代 Routemaster,
於 2012 年倫敦奧運會揭幕之前投入服務,
而最後服役於倫敦嘅掛接巴士亦於上星期六, 即係 12 月 10 日,
隨住最後一條使用掛接巴士嘅 207 號線嘅最後一日服務而退役,
同時亦標誌住掛接巴士喺倫敦行走嘅街景正式成為歷史,
呢D平均車齡都不足十年嘅倫敦掛接, 到底佢地又將會何去何從呢?
