作為GM的上位機種，出淵裕為它加了鋼彈型MS才獨有的「舌頭」，大大突破/顛覆了聯邦無嘴雜魚MS的形象。

由於是宇宙用MS，所以噴射背包的設計較為合理。整體感覺較大河原邦男設計的GM、KATOKI HAJIME的GM CUSTOM等先進，但卻銜接不上較晚的GM II，等於沒有後續發展。
