河森正治+江端里沙C3
 
Not expected to see 河森正治, but arrived at the spot exactly at the start of the interview, hosted by 梁榮忠先生. Not so many fans as thought, mainly MF fans, not many old macross fans as I saw. My favourite is only 河森正治先生, after 25 years of the series, finally I can see him with my own eyes, a nice guy and a bit shy, in a rather good shape at his age, so I guess I have to keep fit as well. Return to the subject, as the whole interview will be on the net soon, everybody will see it as a matter of time, I only quote some main points.
1. The real lexo VF-25F by 河森正治
He brought the lexo version of the VF-25F, proving he used it for designing the transformation process. There is still other 2 but now they are in the hands of Bandai. So, I guess one day we will se mxxx-vlocks version of the VF-25. Mr. 河森 showed the transformation process in front of everyone and the spectular part was that no change of parts is needed, the time was about 30 sec.
2. Macross F movie
He said it should be in Autumn.
3. The best loved VF
Of course VF-1, but now the most satisfied one is VF-25, cause it is best hit at this moment.
4. On the spot drawing
Both guests were asked to draw on a board. Mr. 河森 drew a VF-25, somehow distorted I thought, I would rather prefer a VF-1S. Miss 江端 of course drew the traingle, but the fans shouted for Michael and Kuan Kuan, so they are added in the bottom.
 
5. Interviewer
梁榮忠先生 hosted the talk with a very professional manner with the interpreter. However, he may not have a in-depth knowledge of Macross, so the questions mostly focused on MF only, It would be better if the talk would include all macross shows as well (actually Macross has been touched a little). Also, he did not know MF blue ray has been out for some time, he questioned why everybody can saw the whole MF before it was offically aired in HK.
6. Some secrets of the first Macross
Why songs are used, because many robots were already on TV, but none touch on songs, so it would be cool to have missles flying with songs. And asked why not use traditional Japanese songs and use pop songs, he quoted that these kinds of songs would not fit. Also, the most trouble thing is to think of the transformation process to make it more simple and how to design the VFs to make it more slim.
7. Fans question
I did not hear all of them, most of them focus on MF, I would love to ask which VF he dislike most and thought what should be improved. However, I was not in the front.
OK, I got this chance to see such a legendary man in my lifetime, that would be good enough for a Macross fan.
A little note: It's strange to allow fans at the front to take pics, while people on the sideways were warned, I did not see any difference or effect on the guests.
