After 1W from the release, I finally collected my box of  DX GBG
The no. is 992.


When I opened it, I noted that the plastic is not the ordinary Brave version's plastic. It is the limited version like. All the red, blue and black is mixed with silver dots. Furthermore, it is not 100% plastic. Unlike DX GGGG, the trunk, the joints of wings and hip joints are made of metal alloy. This help to PX the risk of damange during transformations.



The explanation sheet was really difficult to understand and I totally spent 5.5 hours for the whole process of transformation ( all 9 forms) and covering of screw holes.  When I started playing with it, I had the feeling of playing large sized Studio Half eye Toy. The parts were so small and delicate, and I was afraid that I may break some of the parts.

Transformation was complex, that was probably the reason for long time development.
But the he transformation was not complete. It was  ~85%   for the Dragon and Phoenix form and interchanging parts were needed. The transformation for robot form and Great Baan Gaan was better, ~90%.

The final Great Baan Gaan has got the full set of weapons: sword and bow.




Concerning the size, to be honest, it was not a DX size. It was taller than CMS 03 brave series GGGG. But it was much smaller than DX GGGG. I would rather group it as Brave series size. Probably, due to the design and cost, it was classified as DX.

Since the size was already similar to Brave series, I didn't see any reason for CMS to redesign another Brave series GBG.  That was why CMS said that they did not have intention to build a less expensive Brave version.

Concerning the price, since I have been buying SHE toys for a period of time, nearly 100% plastic expensive Yusha toys were not a new thing to me. I think it is fair for such a complex design.
I just wondered what would be the price if SHE is going to build one in future???

Finally, I just posted a comparison with other Brave and Dx GGG.

A little bit larger than Brave series


But much smaller than DX GGGG ( compare the thighs of DX GGGG)



As a conclusion, I felt happy for this CMS GBG as I can finally complete my dream of having a transformable GBG after playing Brave Saga 1 in many years ago.

成隻mahha sperion真係次次變型都相當驚心動魄
DX GGGG時是擔心自動分體
DX GBG係擔心分唔倒體:cool:
仲有隻細baan, 跟說明書變型的話真係有夠得人驚
跟日本網友的blog report的變法就好一點了

Just talked to CMS on the other day.
They said that DX GBG was initially planned to be released as Brave series.
But the whole project was over budget and multiple sheets of design pics have to be drawn before the final design can be achieved. Besides, they have to modify many parts in order to avoid breaking of joints .e.g soft plastic for the dragon head and alloy for the wings and trunk. The " 36000yen x 2200 pieces"  was the estimated price and no. that they have to sold before they can get some profit. Since the price was too  high for Brave series, so they changed the series from BRAVE to DX and decided for on line ordering.  For the above reason, there was nearly no chance for CMS to design a cheaper Brave version as DX GBG was already a  Brave series toy.

Concering the stock in Hon Kong, CMS said that CMS did not send any stock to wholesaler at all. ELITE ordered them via on line ordering, and the total stock no. was still 2200 pieces. (PS I still wondered if ELITE can really order so many from on line??)
That's why they told me.........................
