I loved and bought robots since ~4-5 years old.
=>>~30+ years ago.

The following toys are some of my old toys.




I saw all ...

but why would you started diving into this abyss at that age? it should be a very different experience to us.
I love robots since I was very young, probably a few years old. I       turned to Gundam models in my secondary live. However, TD brought me back to the world of toys because of their high quality.
Until now, one of my dream is to build robots. I have already proposed a detach and docking system under water for my FYP. Probably I can turn it into a combination system if I can be promoted to post graduate~:71:

I also like robot so much and since I am just about 6~8 years old.

I mainly buy Gundam before get into TD.

My dream is also making robot.
But my AL exam result is not good so that I can only study HD in applied physics......:42:


And so, my target now is also getting into EE degree after finishing the HD in AP~~:*:*

Try your best and I hope that you can get an E & E degree!

In this modern society, a degree has become a basic req. for better jobs.

I will also try my best.

But I have though that if I really cannot get into degree, I will study HD in EE of IVE.

As I think it will be easier to find job with a EE HD cert rather than AP HD cert......:o

In the past, degree seemed to be enough.

Now, even master would be better.

For me, the same thing applies.
=>medical student=>doctor ( bachelor of medicine and surgery-MBBS)=>specialty doctor (MRCP) =>advance specialty doctor (FRCP/FHKCP/FHKAM)
=>>even after achieving  all the qualifications, I still need to keep on studying for new things in medical fields.

Just keep going. No matter what happens, knowledge belongs to yourself.

I start falling in love with robot around the age of 5 too... or maybe even earlier... I still got a photo of me with Spiderman robot (big plastic) when I was 3... Then I start fallen in love with so many of them... but my parent never brought me much robot toys when I was a kid in hong kong.

I always enjoy robot that can transform, like Getter, Macross (some member may know I am a big macross fan too hahaha) Go Go Robot, and then of cause transformer! But sadly after I moved to Australia... I lost contact with all these great robot!!! You simply just can't find any robot toy in Australia, not even transformer...

This may surprise some of you, I have never ever seen 1 episode of Yuusha on TV. I've just read about them through "A-Club" (still remeber this magazine?????????????? 1 of the best HK publish magazine) because that's the only thing I can buy in Australia that has anything to do with Japanese culture...

During my extensive time living in Aus, the easiest thing my father can get me when he fly over were Gundam model and I started with SD gundam. My first one in my collection is called BB Warrior (with BB bullet!!!) Gundam! Then I have collect them for a prolong time. Because Gundam model was really hot and really convience to buy during that time, during each visit, my father used to buy me roughtly around 10 boxes. But during the time in between his visit, the only choice left for me in australia is the most internationally well known toy... LEGO, my mother brought so many for me cause she think they are creative and educational toys that are really amazing and even she love it as well hehehe. Some memeber may also recall how many Lego starwars I got... my other lego collection are even more crazy hahahaha but of cause they are now in pieces...

After living in Australia for a long long time, I went to university and that's when I started going back with my toy collection. But still not with robot, roughly after I graduate, I start buying some toy and of cause they are mostly Macross! Thanks Yamato! and Bandai! Takatoku's VF-1S is something that I always wanted when I was still a kid... I start looking for old toy. Then very soon I found out new toys are more interesting! But during the fact that I was still living in Aus... it's still so hard to get any toy. It turns out I have been only able to read about time during that time... During the years I spend in university, I also encountered EVA, and that's where my new toys comes in! That I got a lot of PVC toys!

3 years ago my wife got pregnant, then we both decided to come back to HK for a couple of years. Because we both see being a Chinese is more important than anything!!! We want our baby to learn chinese and also be a 100% Chinese. So we moved back around 2 and half years ago, that's when I started my crazy journey with toy. And that's also when I started to read and post on Toysdaily.

So there you go that's my story. Hope not too long...

It's really love at first sight I guess... don't know how to say it... it's love lor can't explain which part I love. Some of them I love then design, some I love the animation which make me imagine how crazy the robot can be when I hold the toy in hand. Some of them sigh just pure love!
