I have been asked about the rumour of HKG version CMS 03 by several members.
I have asked CMS and they allowed me to give a reply here.
The answer is YES.
Around one month ago, CMS told me that they are going to build 1500 pieces of CMS 03.
The new things are as follow:
1.The golden crown ( G stone + V shape) would be enlarged and the face would be reshaped. ( the old one has some asymmetry and the G stone crown is a little bit too small)
2.The interconnecting part between the Gao protect and Gao broken machines is not very good for the final fusion, a new design would be applied to this area.
3.The old knee joints are blamed to be easily broken. Alloy would be used the knee joints.
4. a new fists in form of Hell and Heaven would be included in the new box.
Another thing was that they would like to sell 500 pieces to non Japanese area esp. HKG. They allow this HKG 500 pieces to be specialised. CMS asked me about the idea of HKG version. I gave them two suggestions:
1st: my ideal version=>>silvery color like MAX GGGG, esp. the silver color of MAX version. But the reply was that the paint in MAX may be easily scrratched off during final fusion, so it was rejected.
2nd: simplified version=>> pearl white color like the one used in Ver.1.5 2007 version CMS 01 GGG. The remaining gao machines would use the same metallic color in previous Japanese 500 limited version i.e. addition of gold powder into the plastic and metal. They finally accept this idea. I asked them if the red color can be much sharper than the old one. They said that they would try.
So there would be 2 revised version:
1. Japnese vesion: original color with plain color.
2 .HKG version: pearl white and metallic color for other gao machines.
The HKG version would not be sold in Japan and a licence has been approved for this HKG version.
The prototype should come out in late March, so I have not yet seen if. If possible, this prototype would be seen CMS booth in the coming Toy Show. I would try to give a preview if possible in future.
I just hope that it would be as perfect as I think.
In addition to this HKG version GGGG, they would also show the Dancouga Nova and other upcoming new series in the toy show. I initially asked them to do some limited toy selling in the show but they said that there would be some technically problem in doing this, so no selling or pre ordering would be A/V in the show.
