but the venom i bought @ toys r us (hwy10 & eglington) has venom itself on the box

The US version has the individual character on the box, and the top has his face.  The Canadian box are all the same (the Marvel ones they use Spiderman only, and SW ones they use Darth Vader), and the top has small pictures of different kinds.

When did you get your Venom there?  It seems the Canadian stores are also getting some US packages.  I am wondering if this is recent or actually the first wave.  Thanks!

And ya... I agree they are really cute but I hope they can make a smaller version of it, like 2 - 3 inch.... now it's like forcing you to spend 20 for one huge plastic... =_=

But wow, I didn't realize the different picture on the box, sure the US version looks alot better!
