以前電視台都重播過ER(仁心仁術)第一季,又係只播一季~~

如冇記錯,當時ER(仁心仁術)係已經播到第四,五季~~

This year = ER's final season(15th).....
damn....  15季 is long!  (not like the longest but probably watched since I was a kid.....)

yes,長到....我己經想罷睇美劇~!!係要做到爛,重複,無人睇先肯完..X file主角換埋都要做..後段完全無心機睇..完全只顧收視..一套好ge劇係雖要good ending,識得係乜位收場..

We are talking about millions of workers in the Hollywood movie and TV industry. Unless the show is considered dead and non-profit making (like Star Trek), nobody wish to drop it and begin a new series. See those reality shows, they are still going on despite we all tired of that.

Yeah, that's a bad thing about following US dramas, they don't have an ending if they get cancelled.
I think Seinfeld is one of those rare exceptions.  The really smartest people pull out before they run dry of materials.

It really narrows down to "Writers and Artists" VS "Marketing".  Not unlike in Japan, Gundam, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman again and again.  The infamous Shounen Jump and their forcefulness on their writers.  People just wanna milk a popular series for what it's worth, and it's the very marketing principle that ironically kills the product to it's ground......
