九年前我剛來 TD 模型討論區時還是個不會替模型上色的素組派{:1_238:}，當時在眾版友熱心的提示、介紹、分享下開始了用琺瑯油與噴罐上色，在"初生之犢不畏虎"的態度下:!，那年夏天時便勇敢地挑戰 (並完成) 了第一盒 FSS： Batsh (VOLKS-IMS 系列):shy:，之後一年又試了較細比例的 Engage SR1 & 3 (WAVE)，然後便沒再油五星了{:1_372:}。我想是怕油得不夠好，浪費了在香港不易買到的五星模型吧:69: (當然現在網購這麼方便的世代，要找已不困難了，不過我不喜歡對螢幕純付款等收貨，所以還是習慣往模型鋪吹水閒聊)。轉眼間八年過去，今年年中時我在別的討論區見到有人搞活動:$，主題正正是永野大神:shiny:，本來我是以 Z /ZZ 機體參與的，原無計劃也沒打算油五星:DD。但秋季逛模型鋪時剛好看到 IMS 系列的忍式幻象和拜歐拉，便即時付錢抱回家:59:，也因此我家多了盒同款的 VAI O LA:(。之後到十一月完成第十二季 Z ~ CC period's MS時，便想暫不油 HGUC 了:no:，也千載難逢地翻櫃頂那幾大箱山積，先是油了第二隻 REX (但還有九隻等著出世...{:1_225:})，再來便向十多年前已買落的 resin kit 版 CRUMARS II 伸出魔爪:^。就這樣 2019年第五十五作 (累計上色成品第 一 五 七 號)入櫃了{:1_226:}。

Five Star Stories 應是我上中學時，從某期的機動世界 (本土模型雜誌) 處認識的，那期分享的是高速幻象二型:35:。我一見到那非高達、非超級系的清麗高雅造型便被深深打動{:1_221:}，之後在不認識 FSS 為何物的情形下仍向漫畫店一次過訂了七冊的漫畫，到拿書時見到的是很另類的大尺寸開本{:1_197:}。在看第一遍時覺得時間軸跳來跳去、人物太多，每頁下方的註釋很密，就是睇到一頭霧水{:1_206:}，不過每冊才那十幾頁的 MH 對戰畫面還是夠值回票價了:$。之後我每隔一兩年都會拿出來由頭看一回，在多看了幾次後{:1_210:}，終於對常出場的人物、時空、背景有較貫通的瞭解{:1_208:}，便覺得五星物語好看了{:1_238:}。可惜另一邊廂，大神卻越畫越慢、常休刊、長年停刊。從87年發行第一冊，拖拖拉拉地要到06年才發行第十二冊，之後休養 (打機) 至 15年才迎來第十三冊:die:，但機設全改了，也沒中文版了...:no:
這盒 GSB 翻模的拜歐拉原是 VOLKS 的 resin kit，但不親自去(你付錢請人去都得)日本的發賣會排隊是買不到原裝的 GK:(，VOLKS 亦不怎樣翻模自己的 GK，現在你有錢也未必買得到正版，所以我們便不要在此計較/針對 GK 的版權問題{:1_203:}。VAI O LA 的原名稱是 CRUMARS II (克爾馬爾斯二型)，在故事中是星團歷初代劍聖的坐騎，劇中第一次亮相是在第七冊，而且出場不到兩話便被斬掉雙手退回幕後{:1_374:}，下一次再登場要等到第十六冊 (第十五冊才剛上架，第十六冊可能又要等兩年...{:1_232:}) (而且機設也頭到認不出來了...{:1_224:})。十多年來的模型歷程，這是第一次砌實心重身 resin kit，GK 有它自身明顯的優缺點：造型、刻線、題材完勝大家普遍接觸的模型；質量、價錢、可動卻全被比下去{:1_203:}。如果你買到 (由其是現在網購) 質量差 (即刻線糢糊、滿是氣泡、斷角、多雜質) 又欠件的 recast{:1_216:}，那直接掉丟砌別的模型比強行搶救來的舒心{:1_237:}。另外，FSS 的 GK 不只不能擺姿勢，甚至很多時都是角度限定的:47:，連永野護也沒畫齊六面的設定圖， MH 又多是只在漫畫中出現幾頁，廠商很多時就靠設定集裡那一個美倫美煥的站姿及幾個補助性的漫畫鏡頭便開模生產{:1_206:}，所以除了官圖 / 原設的站姿，側一點看都會覺得怪怪的:38:。這方面，VOLKS 的 FSS 算比較優秀，造型、比例、細節都在水準之上:78:。我十多年前在旺角街鋪購入時的定價是三百多，比現在買 VOLKS 自家 IMS 化後的 VAI O LA 差不多便宜了一半 (更枉論現在網購的翻上翻上翻的翻模了)，分模上也較好 (IMS版小腿甲的分模位置其差:angry:)，就差在零可動，及重心太高 (頭髮太厚) 站不了是輸給新版:73:。
在種銅枝及大致調整姿勢後便洗件準備上色，用色我既不津從 IMS 版的紫色關節:58:，亦不考慮 GK版的深灰關節:he:，而是翻開漫畫的彩頁與設定集:p，選擇偏淡的沙黃與中、淺兩種灰，再以檸檬黃、黑鐵及雙偏光處理的劍身作點綴{:1_220:}。灰色的部份是用 wash；沙黃的部份則是滲線再補色。另外，MH的設定是人工生物，而非機械，故自行決定不跟原設在小丑眼罩內點睛:shy:。並且持劍的動作選擇握在劍柄的中段，而不是靠前的位置，是想營造高手遊刃有餘的風範。這 GK 沒付水貼，故自行在左胸描了如 IMS版的簽名(？):51:。

永野護, sigh!  Four words: 又愛又恨.

In the mid 80's, before there were any injection FSS kits, it was only resin GK.  I had already emigrated by then, but one summer in HK, I paid $300 for a KoG recast at some hole in the wall "store", thinking they would actually send it to me when it's ready.  A fool and his money was soon parted.

I highly doubt I will ever build a resin kit now.  But I do have IMS waiting for me. Speaking of wait, we are all still waiting for IMS KoG, aren't we?  

Thank you for your insane number of builds, stories and tips you have shared here.

i would only buy real GK in shop, and allow checking before pay. {:1_220:}. my bad experience is "MM - Flame Empress" which I bought in the same shop i got VAIOLA before. But this time the shopkeeper not allow me to check the parts / QC. so i found broken parts, full of air bubble, etc in that box of poor recast...:blame:

yes, here still have good modelers, but not as many as couple years before. even white wolf disappeared...:unhappy:

My batsh, painted the armor with metallic black and the frame  with chrome silver. Waiting for good weather to spray a layer of clear purple on the armor.

you not afraid the contrast b/w metalic dark purple & chrome silver is too strong?

羊大 辛苦了。顏色配搭一如以往很舒服。我也是五星迷。這隻也出了1/100 IMS。質素當然也不能跟手辦相提並論。不過算是多一種選擇。

thanks, I enjoy soft color scheme, i think it came from 永野大神 's style of coloring.

Volks cut the leg armor into three pieces, so you need to grout it before paint, that make the separation is stupid and redundant. the rest of parts are nice, even better than resin kit version. and IMS ver. can set pose:$. however, the selling price in HK is too high.{:1_200:}
