YES, they are the same.
My Green one had a broken toe and needed to be repaired. Luckily, OK now.
My Golden one is still OK at the present moment.

This is a resin white cast.
Original cast was already out of print.
The 2nd handed frying price in Japan  was ~50000 yen.
I bought one at ~$25XX once it was released in Wonder Festival.
You may still find FAKE copy in Hong Kong at ~$500-700.
BUt you need to find somebody to build it for you.

Box art is just the same except there is a revised label at the R. lower corner.
Several differences that you will notice in the box are the:
1.colored explanation sheet=>first version: black and white.

2.golden plating is more yellowish now. (Right is revised version)



3.the holes on both sides of Gao gadget were increased
