Medicom vs sideshow (Dark Vader)

Hi guys, I am actually planning to get a 12" Dark Vader figure for my collection, after I have done some research, it seem Medicom version is more attractive because the helmet could be take off and the light saber could be light up which sideshow couldn't. But the price of Medicom is $7xx cheaper than sideshow. Is there anyone who actually own one of these figure can share your comments pls

    CHing, the New Medicom version (Darth Vader v2.0) is 23,100 yen.  If the Sideshow version is $7xx more.  It may be HKD2500 to HKD3000.  It seems the Sideshow version is expensive.

For me, as I ordered the Medicom v2.0 version in March, I have no more choice and I can't wait for SS version.  But you can wait and see if the SS version is better.  People keep saying the 'leather' of Medicom will dissolve automatically, not sure if SS is better.  

I like the illuminate light saber, this is cool.  I get to get the Luke's light saber (from UU) for my Hot Toys DX07 (Luke).  HT should make one!

Actually, it is not of leather but of something artificial. The peeling is unavoidable as at the hearting of the Earth unless you place it in the environment with temperature control.
