Just got mine Metal Build Gundam Tran-AM this morning from nippon-yasan.com. :43:

I have the original 7 swords and O Raiser. I was little skeptical about this new release. Ok, here is my initial thought. :36:

1. QC-Great. I have not found a single scratch. Lucky me.

2. The Tran-AM effect (magic light paint) is better than I thought. The Tran-AM effect actually covers the whole Gundam figure as well as O Raiser. The paint jobs have some kinds of red coating finish. I saw the effect once the figure is out of the box. The red coating gives a thin layer of glossy look, it helps to shift the color when you place it into different light sources (more obvious on the white parts). It is little hard to show on a static photo. However, it is pretty neat to see the color shift when you actually play the figure. Little surprise there. :35:

3. The joints are more tighter than the original 7 sword. It may help to support O Raiser better? I haven't put O Raiser on the figure yet. It is just my initial reaction on the joints.

Is it worth to get it? If you like Gundam OO and don't have the original 7 sword, I believe you will find plenty of fun to play this figure. My two cent... :64:

I am so regret getting the 0-raiser in the first place, otherwise I will get this for sure!:no: I like how the trans-am color is just subtle and elegant over the cheap color in MG.  I think it will make a good combination that to display regular 00 Raiser in MG, 7 sword in MB and then trans-am 00 raiser together.

Mmm... I think the original 7 swords and O Raiser are still one of the finest Gundam figures. If you still want to get the Tran-AM, you may consider selling your original 7 swords. It is still worth some money. There are still lot of people bidding the 7 swords on eBay. Worth to take a look. Hope it helps! :71:

BTW, the body parts of Metal Build Gundam Tran-AM are same as the original 7 swords. It is just different color. The joints are tighter on the new one. Besides that, they are pretty much the same.
