I cannot give any pic now.

Since he said that he would not get a replacement for me and asked me to consider it as a battle damaged sign, so I just repaint both masks.

The scarred one is still OK.
The normal one failed, the tear drop defect is still there but it has changed its form.

=>>you cannot see its original form.

其實是否應該要好似Medicom換貨咁,張件有問題parts影張相。
然後send去代理Medicom。

而HT既方法就係,張件有問題parts影張相。
然後send去HT and cc比版權公司(例如. Ironman就send去Marvel)

可能要我地做到咁HT先會正視問題。

dear hottoys,
i have purchased your product, Iron Man 2 War machine, and have picked it up on 13/10/2010 by my parents.
However, as i live overseas, the figure is placed in HK without opening or inspection.
As i finally got the change to play with the figure Today 15/11/2010, i discovered the waist of the figure is broken, completely detached...(see attachment)
i have phoned "Toy Hunter" and they said i have already passed the warranty...
is there any way i can fix it or get it repaired ?

Please kindly note that the after-sales service request if over 14days of purchase will not be accepted for most case.

1. Yes, you are right. Only sane one would talk like that to customer, but that's what he said.
2. I checked the kit in the basement of CTMA immediately and got an exchange within 10mins.
How can I notice all problems under that kind of dark light in Hottoys?
3. I have repainted them last night, I can never given you any pics.

P.S. I am not arguing about the QC of this MK6, I am talking about his manner and gesture.

I sum up important wordings from CEO in chinese.

a) Hottoys並不適合你 x 2 by CEO
b)回去玩你的樹脂 toy
c)如果我今天給你,,明天你會回來 for 一個新的黑線


=>>I will not waste my time and petrol for such minor problem. Such a poor QC like Medicom is well known for Hottoys now, I am not that obsessive but face and mask are the most important thing. I don't mind any problem with Tony as I never use human head.

d) Final words: "好好享受生活", what did he mean????

Allowing somebody to change parts for the same problem just before me but not allowing me in doing the same thing, why? CEO just said that that kind of customer has gone to far and he would like to start rejecting such kind of changing. He has the eager to get back his stock and pay refund instead of changing parts for them!

I can never imagine such kinds of words to come out from a CEO.
If you just tell me, ONLY BROKEN PARTS OR DEFECTIVE PARTS can be changed.
Painting problem is not accepted, then I am OK. But CEO gave such kinds of comments, it is really unbelievable. By the way, when we were arguing, all his black face employees including fat black and tall thin black just stayed away from us and hide in the cushier.

I am not asking you to stop buying your beloved figures.
I just want to share my XP with you all and let you know that  you may face similar problems in future if you go back for any exchange.:cool:
For me, I will not buy anything from a company with such kind of attitude and grandiosity.

I will 好好享受生活, just as Howard Chan said!

By the way, in years ago when Hottoys was still small, this Howard Chan served me very well when I bought an old EX FEWTURE GETTER 2 from them.
I needed to open up three boxes as 2 of them have got cracked painting on the chest  and head.
But now, he has changed so much..................money can really change anybody.:69:

IM  個series 真係好睇唔好玩

唔玩得既玩具, 又點算係玩具呢....
佢d 宣傳都用"collectible" , 呢個字去形容自己d product
無事果陣就叫做 "collectible" , 有事就當係 "toy"

sigh~~~ 由 dx02 batman 已經係咁, 我都有係鋪面同佢地嘈 , 最後老闆娘先黎調停同換比我
我先至無搞事...

好心ht 寫好d 換貨條款, 又唔比check 又話14日有問題有得換, 想換又話要一個月.....好唔負責任

之前都覺得 鋪面 cs 水準有提升, 而家老細出黎搞禍哂 ~

CEO said that if my technique is good, then I should be able to do it.
I told him that I used to build resin cast, so I can do it but the use of thinner may break the surface of the paint, how can I risk my toy??
I paid you for a painted toy, why should I use my time to correct your problem and risk my itme? If so, why should CEO just release a plain cast for us to paint?
I have the technique and ability is my problem, responsibility is their issue.
If CEO thought that the part was normal, then why should he ask me to repaint it?
Besides, why should he ask me to consider it as battle damage version?
He should just tell me " IT IS NORMAL".

If I can repair a car, but my new car has got a problem on D2.
Should I repair it by myself or go to the car factory for repair?

Luckily, somebody was there and understand my feeling.

If I talk to patient like that in Hospital and tell him that this hospital is not suitbale for you,  then I should immediately get an official complaint from Medical Council for poor attitude.

Nobody wants to get changing, I will frequent repair or repaint Bandai, CMS or medicom toys. I will even modify or repaint much expensive toy like Studio Halfeye e.g. my Dangaioh or Dangouga Nova of $6K. It is not the problem of price of toy,  but the mask was made from transparent plastic, use of thinner may put it at risk of damaging the clear parts, it is my luck that I can repair one of it!

because BD version is like that(black lines all over the mask)
